't Cachot

A little historical background

“'t Cachot” (The Gaol) is a selfcatering, cosy holiday home with a bedding capacity for maximum 6 people. In the early 1900s this house was the former prison of the State Police barracks where local vilains and noisy drunks used to be kept, hence the name of our property.

Between 2014 and 2017 ‘t Cachot was restored to a very homely holiday home, with great respect for its historical origins and typical architectural style. Unlike the former gaol, our charming cottage now offers all modern comfort, but in addition our guests will certainly enjoy the peace and quiet of a small village amidst the beautiful surrounding scenery and pristine nature.

Dirk and Katrien hope to welcome you soon.
